Chakra Balancing in Brickell + Downtown Miami

Chakra Balancing Therapy – Realign Energy Centers for Holistic Healing and Inner Peace

Chakra Balancing in Brickell + Downtown Miami

The word chakra originates from the Sanskrit term meaning "wheel" or "disk," symbolizing spinning energy centers within the body. In yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda, chakras are seen as vital energy conduits that align along the spine, connecting us to universal forces and influencing our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These seven main chakras, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, govern key aspects of our lives.

What Are Chakras?

Chakras are often visualized as spinning, wheel-like vortices where energy flows in and out of the body. Acting as portals, they help maintain balance within our energy field and directly impact our health, emotions, and spiritual growth.

Each chakra governs specific aspects of life, such as:

When energy flows freely through these centers, we feel vibrant and aligned. However, blockages or imbalances in the chakras can disrupt this harmony, leading to challenges in our health, emotions, and life path.

Understanding Chakra Blockages and Imbalances

  • Blocked Chakras: Restricted energy flow causes stagnation, resulting in physical discomfort, emotional challenges, or a sense of disconnection.
  • Imbalanced Chakras: Overactive or underactive chakras create disharmony. For instance, an overactive solar plexus chakra may lead to burnout, while an underactive throat chakra can make self-expression difficult.

These disruptions often manifest as physical ailments, emotional distress, mental fog, or spiritual misalignment. Addressing these issues is essential for restoring balance and achieving well-being.

The Purpose of Chakra Balancing

Chakra balancing is a holistic practice that restores the harmonious flow of energy within the body. By clearing blockages and aligning the chakras, it creates a stable energy system that sustains vitality, clarity, and inner peace.

Daily stressors, unresolved emotions, and past experiences can leave lasting energetic imprints, affecting how we feel and interact with the world. Chakra balancing helps release these energetic blocks, allowing us to move forward with renewed purpose and balance.

Benefits of Chakra Balancing

  • Enhanced energy flow and vitality
  • Improved emotional resilience and mental clarity
  • Strengthened connections with self and others
  • Relief from physical discomfort and tension
  • Greater spiritual alignment and inner harmony

How Chakra Balancing Works

A chakra balancing session may include a combination of powerful healing techniques, such as:

  • Crystal Healing: Specific crystals are placed on or near the body to harmonize energy centers.
  • Reiki or Energy Healing: Universal energy is channeled to clear blockages and restore balance.
  • Sound Therapy: Frequencies, mantras, or singing bowls realign the vibrations of each chakra.
  • Guided Meditation: Relaxation and visualization help restore energy flow.

These gentle, non-invasive practices work synergistically to realign your energy system, fostering a deep sense of peace and vitality.

Heal your Chakras with Crystals and Gemstones

 A Path to Energetic Harmony

Chakras are the energy centers in our bodies that govern not only our physical health but also our emotional and spiritual well-being. There are seven main chakras, each associated with different aspects of our lives, and each resonating with a specific color and vibration. Crystals, with their unique properties and vibrations, can be powerful allies in chakra healing. In this article, we’ll explore how to use crystals to heal and balance your chakras, promoting a holistic sense of well-being.

Unveiling the Magic of Crystals
Crystals are more than just pretty stones. They hold powerful vibrations that can interact with our own energy fields, promoting balance and well-being. Think of them as tiny tuning forks for your chakras! Crystals vibrate at specific frequencies, and their energy can resonate with the vibrations of the chakras. When you place a crystal on or near a chakra, its energy can help clear blockages, restore balance, and enhance the flow of energy. Each crystal has its unique properties that align with specific chakras, making it easier to target the healing process.

How to Use Crystals

Now that you know which crystals correspond to each chakra, let’s explore various methods for using them in your healing practice.

Meditation with Crystals

Meditating with crystals is one of the most effective ways to harness their energy. Here’s how to do it:

  • Select Your Crystals: Choose a crystal for the specific chakra you wish to heal.
  • Find a Comfortable Position: Sit or lie down in a quiet space.
  • Place the Crystal: Position the crystal on or near the chakra area (e.g., place a rose quartz on your heart).
  • Close Your Eyes and Breathe: Focus on your breath and visualize the energy of the crystal flowing into the chakra, clearing any blockages.
Crystal Grids

Creating a crystal grid can amplify the healing effects of your crystals. Arrange multiple crystals in a geometric pattern, with the crystal corresponding to the chakra you wish to heal at the center. This setup enhances the energy flow and can be particularly powerful for intentions related to that chakra.

Wearing Crystals

Wearing crystal jewelry can help keep the healing energy close to you throughout the day. Consider wearing a necklace, bracelet, or earrings made from the crystals associated with the chakra you’re focusing on. This constant connection allows you to absorb their energies more effortlessly.

Crystal Baths

Infuse your bath with the energy of crystals by placing them in warm water (ensure they are safe for water use). For example, adding rose quartz to your bath can enhance love and emotional healing. As you soak, visualize the healing properties of the crystals enveloping you.

Crystal Elixirs

You can create crystal elixirs by placing a crystal in water (ensure the crystal is safe to use in water) and letting it charge for a few hours. Drink the infused water to absorb the crystal's energy. Always research crystal safety before this method.

Intention Setting

When using crystals, it’s essential to set a clear intention for your healing. Hold the crystal in your hand and focus on your desired outcome for that specific chakra. Speak your intention aloud or write it down. This helps to direct the energy of the crystal towards your healing goals.

Maintaining Your Crystals

After using your crystals, it’s essential to cleanse them to remove any negative energy they may have absorbed. Here are a few ways to cleanse your crystals:

  • Smudging: Use sage or palo santo to clear the energy of the crystal.
  • Salt Water: Soak the crystal in a mixture of salt and water (ensure the crystal is water-safe).
  • Moonlight: Leave your crystals outside overnight during a full moon to recharge their energy.

Crystal Healing for Your Home

The benefits of crystals extend far beyond personal healing. Placing crystals around your home can create a sanctuary of positive energy. Here's how:

  • Citrine in your home office: Attract wealth and success while staying focused and productive.

  • Amethyst in your bedroom: Promote restful sleep and banish negativity for a truly peaceful retreat.

  • Rose Quartz in your living room: Foster harmony and loving vibes for the perfect gathering space.

Chakra Activation Exercises for Energy Alignment

Using Color, Meditation, Affirmations, Breathing, and Yoga to Heal Your Chakras

Chakras are energy centers in the body, each associated with a specific color and aspect of your life. For instance, the solar plexus chakra is represented by the color yellow, symbolizing personal power and confidence, while the crown chakra, associated with spiritual connection and enlightenment, is linked to violet or purple. By harnessing the power of these colors and integrating various healing practices, you can effectively address and heal imbalances in your chakras.Energy Center Exercises

Color Therapy for Chakra Healing

Colors have profound effects on our energy and emotions. To heal a blocked or imbalanced chakra, incorporate its associated color into your daily life. If, for example, you are working on your solar plexus chakra (yellow), consider decorating a room with yellow accents or using yellow lighting. If redecorating isn't feasible, you can wear yellow clothing or keep yellow objects around you. This subtle immersion in the color can help to realign your energy and encourage healing.

For chakras related to different colors, such as the heart chakra (green) or the sacral chakra (orange), use similar methods. Surround yourself with green or orange items, or even cook meals with these colors to support your healing journey. By aligning your environment with the color of the chakra you're focusing on, you can absorb the vibrational frequency of that color, fostering a healing effect.

Color Therapy for Chakra Healing

Meditation for Chakra Alignment

Meditation is a powerful tool for chakra healing and can be tailored to target specific energy centers. Guided imagery videos, available on platforms like YouTube, offer chakra-specific meditations that can guide you through visualizing and healing your chakras. These videos often use color visualization, energy movement, and relaxation techniques to help open and balance your chakras.

For a more personalized approach, try traditional meditation techniques. Find a quiet space, close your eyes, and focus your attention on the area of your body associated with the chakra you wish to heal. Imagine a bright light or color filling that space, gently clearing away blockages and restoring balance. Regular meditation, even for just a few minutes each day, can significantly enhance your energy flow and overall well-being.

Affirmations to Strengthen Chakra Energy

Affirmations are positive statements that can reprogram your subconscious mind and support chakra healing. Each chakra influences different aspects of your life, and using targeted affirmations can help address specific imbalances. For example, if you struggle with self-esteem issues, which are related to the solar plexus chakra, you might use affirmations like, "I am confident and worthy of success."

For challenges related to communication, which are associated with the throat chakra, affirmations like, "I express myself clearly and effectively" can be beneficial. By consistently repeating affirmations that resonate with the energy of your imbalanced chakra, you reinforce positive beliefs and encourage healing.

Breathing Exercises to Energize Your Chakras

Breathing is a fundamental practice in energy work and yoga, directly influencing the flow of energy in your body. When a chakra is blocked, it often means that energy is stagnant or negative. Breathing exercises can help to clear and revitalize your energy centers.

Try focusing your breath on the location of your closed chakra. As you inhale, visualize positive, healing energy flowing into that area. As you exhale, imagine releasing any negativity or blockages. This practice helps to open the chakra and restore healthy energy flow. Techniques like deep abdominal breathing or alternate nostril breathing can be particularly effective in enhancing your energy balance.

Yoga for Chakra Healing

Yoga offers a physical approach to chakra healing through poses that target specific energy centers. Each yoga pose can influence different chakras and help to release tension and promote balance. For example, if you’re focusing on the heart chakra, which is associated with love and compassion, incorporate poses that open the chest, such as the Camel Pose (Ustrasana) or the Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana).

Regular practice of yoga can help to maintain balanced energy in your chakras. By integrating poses that align with your healing goals, you can support the flow of energy throughout your body and enhance your overall sense of well-being.

By combining these methods—color therapy, meditation, affirmations, breathing exercises, and yoga—you can create a holistic approach to chakra healing. Each practice complements the others, providing a comprehensive strategy to address imbalances and promote harmony within your energy system.

Sound Therapy

Sound therapy involves using sound frequencies to heal and balance chakras. Different sounds and vibrations can resonate with specific chakras, helping to clear blockages and restore energy flow.

  • Tuning Forks: Specially tuned forks are struck and placed near the body to resonate with particular chakras.
  • Singing Bowls: Crystal or metal bowls are played to produce vibrations that can harmonize the energy of a chakra.
  • Chanting and Mantras: Repeating specific sounds or mantras, such as “Om” or “Lam” for the root chakra, can help align and energize your chakras.

Crystal Healing

Crystal healing utilizes the energy of gemstones and crystals to support chakra balance. Each crystal is believed to have unique properties that correspond to different chakras.

  • Amethyst: Often used for the crown chakra, promoting spiritual connection and insight.
  • Rose Quartz: Associated with the heart chakra, encouraging love and emotional healing.
  • Citrine: Linked to the solar plexus chakra, enhancing personal power and confidence.

You can place crystals on the chakra areas during meditation or carry them with you to benefit from their healing properties.

Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy healing that involves a practitioner channeling universal energy to balance the chakras. During a Reiki session, the practitioner lightly touches or hovers their hands over the body, facilitating the flow of energy and helping to clear blockages.

Reiki can be done in person or remotely, making it a flexible option for chakra healing.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses essential oils to support chakra health by influencing the energy and emotional states associated with different chakras.

  • Lavender: Calming and balancing, often used for the third eye and crown chakras.
  • Peppermint: Energizing and refreshing, helpful for the throat chakra.
  • Patchouli: Grounding and stabilizing, beneficial for the root chakra.

You can use essential oils in diffusers, apply them topically (diluted with a carrier oil), or add them to your bath.

Journaling and Self-Reflection

Journaling and self-reflection help you explore and address the emotional and psychological aspects of each chakra. Writing about your experiences, feelings, and thoughts related to a specific chakra can reveal underlying issues and patterns that need attention.

Reflect on areas of your life connected to each chakra and identify any imbalances or challenges. This process can provide insights and guide your healing journey.

Energy Clearing Techniques

Energy clearing methods help to remove stagnant or negative energy from the chakras and the body.

  • Smudging: Burning sage, palo santo, or other herbs to cleanse the energy field.
  • Salt Baths: Soaking in a bath with Epsom salt or sea salt to draw out toxins and negativity.
  • Visualization: Imagining a cleansing light or energy washing over and purifying your chakras

Bodywork and Massage

Bodywork and massage techniques can help release tension and blockages in the physical body, which often correspond to chakra imbalances.

  • Deep Tissue Massage: Targets muscle tension and can help release stored emotions related to specific chakras.
  • Acupressure: Applying pressure to specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and balance chakras.

By incorporating these diverse techniques into your chakra healing practice, you can address imbalances more comprehensively and support your journey towards greater energy harmony and well-being.

What are Chakras ? The Science Behind the Chakras

What are the Chakras? How to Unblock chakras
Unlocking the Mysteries of Chakras

Imagine your body as a luminous skyscraper. Energy flows through it in seven key centers called chakras, each one vibrating at a specific frequency and influencing different aspects of your well-being. Think of them as the WiFi routers of your being! When these energy centers are balanced, you experience vibrant health, fulfilling relationships, and a deep sense of purpose. But when they're blocked, it can disrupt your flow, leading to everything from fatigue and frustration to disconnection and disease.

  • Root Chakra (Red):  This is your foundation, your connection to security and abundance. Feeling financially secure yet stressed about maintaining your fabulous lifestyle? A balanced Root Chakra brings stability and allows you to manifest your desires with confidence.

  • Sacral Chakra (Orange): Your center of creativity, sensuality, and pleasure. Ever feel creatively stifled or stuck in a relationship rut? Balancing your Sacral Chakra reignites your passion for life and ignites your inner artist.

  • Solar Plexus Chakra (Yellow): The seat of your willpower and self-esteem.  Do you struggle with self-doubt or feel like you're constantly proving yourself?  A strong Solar Plexus Chakra empowers you to step into your power and radiate confidence.

  • Heart Chakra (Green): The wellspring of love, compassion, and healthy relationships.  Do you find it hard to forgive or attract healthy connections? A balanced Heart Chakra allows you to give and receive love authentically.

  • Throat Chakra (Light Blue): Your voice of truth and creative expression. Ready to finally launch that passion project or speak your mind with confidence? A clear Throat Chakra empowers you to communicate effectively and share your unique gifts with the world.

  • Third Eye Chakra (Indigo): Your center of intuition and psychic awareness. Do you crave deeper meaning and a connection to something greater? An awakened Third Eye Chakra enhances your intuition and opens you to new dimensions of self-discovery.

  • Crown Chakra (Violet): Your gateway to spiritual connection and enlightenment.  Yearning for a deeper sense of purpose and inner peace?  A balanced Crown Chakra allows you to connect with your higher self and experience true fulfillment.

As a clairvoyant energy healer who sees and works with chakras daily, I'm thrilled to offer you a deeper look into this fascinating energy system. Imagine a kaleidoscope within your body, each chakra a vibrant wheel of energy spinning at its own pace, radiating unique colors and textures. That's what I see! The root chakra, at the base of your spine, might glow a deep red, pulsing with the earth's energy. The heart chakra, in your chest, could shimmer with emerald green, radiating love and compassion. Each color whispers a story, revealing your physical, emotional, and spiritual state.

The 7 primary chakras form a line from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Although fixed in the central spinal column, they are located on both the front and back of the body. Each chakra vibrates or rotates at a different speed. The Base or 1stchakra rotates at the slowest speed and the crown or 7thchakra at the highest speed. Chakras are stimulated by colors. The colors vary by wavelength and frequency and range from bright, translucent colors at the higher end of the spectrum to darker shades of brown, gray and black at the lower end of the spectrum. The size of the chakra wheels differs according to individual development, physical condition, energy levels, and lifestyle.

The Science Behind Chakras

Colors are just one aspect of the chakra symphony. Each chakra also carries unique vibrations, like musical notes forming a harmonious melody. When your chakras are balanced, this inner music flows freely, bringing health and well-being. But blockages or imbalances can disrupt the harmony, leading to physical and emotional dis-ease. For example, a sluggish root chakra, perhaps a dull brown instead of a vibrant red, might manifest as feelings of insecurity or lack of motivation.

The health of our chakras affects our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well being. When the chakras are not balanced or when the flow of energy through the body is blocked or slowed at one chakra point or another the basic life force within us slows down. As a result we may feel tired, sad, unmotivated, or depressed. Over time, if this universal energy does not properly flow through us, we may develop a physical or mental disease requiring medical attention.

Most of us react to bad life experiences by closing ourselves and blocking our feelings. This literally reduces a great deal of our natural energy flow. This affects the healthy, maturation and development of the chakras. Whenever we block a painful experience, we are in turn blocking our energy/chakras which eventually becomes disfigured, discolored, and drained of energy.
When the chakras are functioning normally each chakra will be open and spinning clockwise to metabolize the particular energies needed from the universal energy field. When our chakras are healthy and balanced, our lives are filled with joy, happiness, and purpose.

The Science of Chakra Frequencies

In recent years, scientific research has increasingly explored the concept of chakra frequencies and their role in human health. It is well-established that our bodies emit electromagnetic frequencies, and disruptions in these frequencies may lead to imbalances and health issues. Measuring and analyzing these frequencies have become an essential aspect of understanding the body's energetic systems.

Scientific studies using techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) have sought to measure the frequencies associated with chakras. EEG measures brainwave frequencies, and some studies have reported correlations between specific brainwave patterns and chakra activity. Similarly, MEG measures magnetic fields generated by brain activity, providing insights into the brain's energetic processes and their potential connection to chakra functioning.

Science behind the chakras

The Chakra-Brain Connection

A growing body of research indicates that certain chakra frequencies align with specific brainwave patterns. For instance, the crown chakra, associated with spiritual connection and higher consciousness, has been linked to gamma brainwaves. Meanwhile, the root chakra, associated with grounding and stability, appears to correspond to delta brainwaves. These correlations suggest a fascinating connection between chakras and the brain's electrical activity.

Chakra healing operates on the principle that imbalances in the energetic system can manifest as physical or emotional ailments. Advocates of this practice argue that by balancing chakras and restoring energy flow, individuals can experience improved overall health and a deeper sense of well-being. The mind-body connection is central to this approach, emphasizing the importance of addressing both emotional and physical aspects of health.

What are chakras?

Chakra healing, an ancient practice rooted in Eastern traditions, has piqued the curiosity of modern researchers seeking to explore its scientific basis. As the scientific community continues to delve into the world of measured frequencies and their correlation with chakras, it opens up new avenues for understanding the body's energetic systems and their influence on overall well-being. While the evidence is still emerging, the integration of ancient wisdom and modern science may hold the key to unlocking the potential benefits of chakra healing for a more balanced and holistic approach to health and wellness.

In many ways the chakras are like intersections in a busy city. They channel traffic and the traffic grid is designed to keep traffic flowing freely. But as we have all experienced, city traffic can easily become blocked. All it takes is one angry or insensitive driver blocking an intersection, and everything comes to a stop. Traffic upstream from the blockage becomes a domino effect of cars clogging the streets and blocking other intersections. And ‘downstream’, the streets are empty.

Chakras- energy centers in the body that impact wellbeing,

Imagine that scenario in your energy body. If one or more of your chakras are blocked, they cause disturbances and imbalances on both sides of the flow. The result is stagnating energy that causes poor health, undesirable life conditions, unhappiness and a sense that nothing is going right. You may have blockages or imbalances in one or more chakras, but it is often due to one major blockage in one chakra that then affects the others.

Balance your Throat Chakra

Unlock Your Voice: Healing the 5th Chakra, Vishuddha

The 5th Chakra, or Vishuddha, is the energy center associated with your throat, vocal cords, and thyroid. This chakra is the gateway through which we express ourselves and our true feelings. It governs not just how we communicate with others, but also how we perceive ourselves through our inner dialogue.

Understanding the Impact of Vishuddha

The tone and quality of your voice are powerful indicators of your emotional state. A hurried or strained tone might suggest stress or anxiety, while a calm, measured voice can help transform challenging situations into more manageable ones. As an intuitive reader, I observe how people express themselves through their words and tone, as these are windows into their inner world.

Common Blocks in the 5th Chakra

When the Vishuddha chakra is out of balance, you might encounter several challenges, such as:

  • Fear of Speaking: Anxiety about voicing thoughts or opinions.
  • Difficulty in Expression: Struggling to articulate feelings or ideas clearly.
  • Over-Talking or Bluntness: Speaking excessively or harshly.
  • Inappropriate Language: Using foul or aggressive language.

Physical manifestations of these blocks can include frequent sore throats, colds, thyroid issues, or a sensation of tightness in the throat.

Balance Your Throat Chakra: Easy Meditation Tips

Healing and Balancing Vishuddha

To restore balance to your throat chakra, consider these mindful practices:

Mindful Communication: Pay attention to how you speak about others and yourself. Your words and their tone can deeply impact your interactions and overall well-being. In my experience, maintaining a smooth, calm tone can significantly shift the dynamics of a conversation. Smiling while speaking can also add an uplifting quality to your voice.

Simple Throat Chakra Meditation:

    • Find Your Comfort: Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Focus on your breath.
    • Call for Guidance: Invite your Angels, Guides, or a higher power to assist with your healing.
    • Practice Sama Vritti: This Pranayama technique involves equal breath. Inhale for a count of 4 or 6, and then exhale for the same count. Continue this for a few minutes until you feel centered.
    • Visualize and Balance: Envision a blue ball of energy at your throat area, rotating clockwise. As you inhale, imagine drawing in the color blue to energize your throat. As you exhale, visualize releasing the color black, symbolizing negativity or blockages.

Feel free to adapt this meditation for other chakras by using their corresponding colors.

Balancing your Vishuddha chakra not only enhances your ability to communicate but also aligns your inner voice with your true self, fostering authenticity and clarity in all your interactions.

Healing Foods for the 7 Chakras

Healthy Foods for the 7 Chakras

Chakras (Sanskrit word for "wheels") are subtle centers in the energetic system of a living organism that take in and give out energy. Health is determined by the flow of energy from the 7 chakras into the metabolic network of the body. Blocked chakras, due to emotional, mental, and/or spiritual issues, can restrict energy flow and lead to illness.

Foods—especially foods that share colors with the chakras—carry vibrations that can activate or balance your chakras.

1) The Root chakra is the home of a stable, slow vibration that enables one to be grounded in the workings of the world on a physical level. A healthy root chakra promotes core feelings of being part of a community, and it anchors the body in feelings of trust, safety, and protection.

Health Associations: Responsible for body systems that provide physical structure, allowing for meaningful contact with the Earth: joints, bones, muscle, legs, and feet. Oversees the "boundaries" of the body through an internal and external defense system represented by the immune system and skin.

Root Chakra Healing Foods: Protein (especially animal protein), root vegetables, edible and medicinal mushrooms, red-colored foods (apples, pomegranates, etc.)

2) The Sacral chakra houses the dynamic, creative force that circulates creativity, sexuality, sensuality, and emotions through all layers of the self. A healthy sacral chakra will assist in wielding and manifesting raw creativity into an external form, including through relationships with others. A healthy sacral chakra allows us to "go with the flow" of life.

Health Associations: Responsible for the liquid functions of the body: kidneys, bladder, large intestine. Oversees the "creativity" of the body through the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries, as well as cell division and growth.

Chakra Balancing Foods for Reiki Healers

Sacral Chakra Healing Foods: Fats and oils, fish (especially wild-caught salmon), tropical fruits, seeds, nuts, orange-colored foods (oranges, tangerines, carrots, etc.)

3) The Solar Plexus chakra contains fiery, transformative energy that radiates the essence of the self to the outside world, harmonizing the inner and outer environments. A healthy solar plexus chakra will manifest as a brilliant expression of personal power accompanied by balanced energy flow and clear perceptions of life situations.

Health Associations: Responsible for the transformative functions of the body, including the digestive organs: esophagus, stomach, pancreas, small intestines, liver, and gallbladder. Oversees the "energy exchange" of the body through the generation of ATP, the body’s physical currency of energy, which is supplied by cell structures known as mitochondria (often referred to as "powerhouses of the cell").

Solar Plexus Chakra Healing Foods: Carbohydrates (complex), fiber, whole grains, legumes, yellow-colored foods (yellow sweet peppers, yellow lentils, corn, etc.)

4) The Heart chakra emits a loving, compassionate rhythm that translates pure feeling into emotional wisdom, discernment, and kindness. A healthy heart chakra will funnel love into a healing salve for all, including self, others, and the planet.

Health Associations: Responsible for the circulatory functions of the body, including the heart, lungs, lymphatic system, and blood vessels. Oversees the "nurturing" functions of the body through the breasts, shoulders, arms, and hands.

Heart Chakra Healing Foods: Vegetables (especially cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, cabbage, and leafy greens), sprouts, raw foods, foods rich in chlorophyll, plant compounds like phytoestrogens and phytosterols, any green-colored foods.

Chakra healing Foods for Reiki Healers

5) The Throat chakra contains a communicative vibration that resonates truth. This voice acknowledges free will and the senses, and it gives us our ability to make decisions and to surrender to a higher spiritual presence. A healthy throat chakra will serve as the portal to communicate and express the emotions, thoughts, and feelings of the other chakras through sound in a way that is authentic and true.

Health Associations: Responsible for the sensory apparatus of the body, including the lips, tongue, nose, mouth, and ears, as well as the vehicles of voice and breath like the larynx, pharynx, and throat. Also oversees the "integration" functions of the body through its command of metabolism through the thyroid gland, and through the coordination of the multitude of functions (e.g. chewing, swallowing, breathing, smelling, etc.) occurring in the throat area.

Throat Chakra Healing Foods: Sea plants, fruits, juices, soups, sauces, (which bring together different elements like water and earth), and foods from different ethnic groups (The throat chakra encourages variety of foods.)

Foods for the 7 Chakras

6) The Third eye chakra is the seat of mystical, intuitive knowing that spirals forth the awareness that we are spiritual beings connected to universal wisdom and truth. A healthy third eye chakra will encourage the path of internal visions and dreams, with the realization that they are Divinely guided and inspired.

Third Eye Chakra Healing Foods: Caffeine, tea, chocolate, spices, wine, purple-red foods (purple potatoes, red onions, blackberries, blueberries, purple grapes, etc.)

7) The Crown chakra is home to the pure essence that connects to All That Is. A healthy crown chakra will manifest as the ability for individuals to be confident in their faith in a Higher Power, higher self, or in a force that is highly intelligent and creative.

Health Associations: Responsible for infusing the body with life force, allowing the entire individual to function as a divine creature, intelligent and connected to Spirit. Oversees the "electrical" functions of the body through the central nervous system.
